What is this site for?

Our intentions at the outset of this site is not to harp on about how great the past was and how bad it is now. Rather it is our attempt to imprint upon all, how things have changed so much through the decades for us.

This year alone (2020 at the time of writing) has seen a worldwide pandemic with far reaching consequences for now and the future. It seems that the whole of humanity is at a crossroads with an uncertain future. Which way are we to choose for the greater good of all people? Or will it be something other than that?

If the covid19 virus with the lockdowns on our social interactions have meant anything then we can see that we as human beings are very vulnerable and we need to work together. More than ever the divisions created within societies need healing for good so we can all move on.

Perhaps its now that the generations, young, in the middle and old need to listen more to each other to get a much deeper sense of the things that are truly important . Important to our life’s purpose. Important to family and our global family.

We need to stop and reflect at times to remember the events of our lives and tell our stories to each other. This is closer to reality than listening to the media with all the spin from those that have other agendas.

We all have a story and some of those stories are fascinating. Others are just, well ordinary. But even ordinary is good. We all have something to offer.

This site is to get some of those stories recorded for posterity. It is a work in progress that will grow organically. Whether in words or recorded conversations we hope you find something of interest here.
